PLOT SUMMARY
When a new mutant with devestating powers launches
an unprovoked attack, the rest of the mutant community faces a horrific
backlash. Military leader William Stryker, who may have been involved
in the creation of Wolverine, begins his campaign to exterminate the
mutants, beginning with an assault on X-Men school. Meanwhile, Magneto
escapes from prison and is forced to enter into an uneasy alliance
with Professor Xavier to fight Stryker.
