SUMMARY
Fu Manchu turns his attentions directly to his
arch-enemy, Inspector Nayland Smith of Scotland Yard, and begins to
plot his downfall. The discrediting of Nayland Smith is the first
step on Fu Manchu's road to becoming leader of a global network of
criminals.
CAPSULE REVIEW
Third in the Lee / Towers Fu Manchu series. Much of the action takes
on board a ship set that limits the action. Lacks the derring do adventure
of The Face
of Fu Manchu [1965] and the fun of The
Brides of Fu Manchu [1966]. Fairly routine and unmemorable.
