SUMMARY

A group of cowboys discover a dinosaur in a lost valley and return it to civilization hoping to make a quick profit. Inevitably, it gets loose and chaos reigns.

CAPSULE REVIEW

We've seen it all before of course (most obviously in King Kong (1933)) but when it's done with so much panache and good humour, who cares? Harryhausen's dinosaur is the real star of the show of course and it's suitably scary. As dinosaurs-vs-the- civilised world tales go, it beats The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) hands down.
