PLOT SUMMARY
When Andy goes off to summer camp, the toys are left behind. Woody
is stolen by a greedy toy collector and Woody learns something of his
illustrious ancestry - he's part of a hugely successful and much sought
after range of toys that the dealer hopes to sell to a Japanese toy
museum. Now that he has a complete set of the toys, the deal goes through
and Woody looks set to be moved to Japan - will Buzz Lightyear and the
rest of the toys rescue him in time?
CAPSULE REVIEW
One of those rare creatures, a sequel that's equally as good as its
predecessor. Rescued from the ignomy of a straight-to-video release,
Toy Story 2 was even more successful than the first film and, technically,
it the better film. For sheer entertainment value there's not much to
choose between them, and Toy Story 2 is a more than creditable follow
up.
