SUMMARY

Orphaned in the jungles of Africa as a baby, Tarzan is raised by a group of apes, specifically by his ape-mother Kala. As a young man, he rescues an expedition and when he meets one of their number, Jane Porter, he not only discovers love but also realises for the first time that he isn't ape but human; and an agonising decision awaits - should he stay with Kala and the apes or should he return life with humans?
