King Arthur quickly knights Gawain who is duped by the Green Knight and loses. The Green Knight offers Gawain the chance to live for one more year before facing the consequences and Gawain uses the time to explore the kingdom, trying to solve a life-saving riddle set by Green Knight's. CAPSULE REVIEW
Weeks attempts to remake his own Gawain and the Green Knight (1973) and makes a complete hash of it. Casting Miles O'Keefe was a major mistake to begin with, but Weeks compounds his error with lacklustre direction, a muddled script and one of the worst scores ever recorded. Not even Sean Connery is enough to save this disaster. USA Australia UK USA ALTERNATIVE TITLES
