SUMMARY
After rescuing Han Solo
from Jabba the Hut, Luke Skywalker sets off for a
confrontation with Darth Vader and the Emperor. The rebel

CAPSULE REVIEW
By far and away the worst of the initial / middle trilogy, this is
a flashy, sprawling remake of the first film that has nothing new to
say and instead wallows in sentimentality and forced cuteness. The Ewoks
are the most transparent marketing ploy ever seen in a Hollywood movie
and this installment's 'shock' revelation about who's related to who
lacks the punch of the paternity revelation in Star
Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back [1980].
