PLOT SUMMARY

Cronin 'Mitch' Mitchell is horribly disfigured in an accident and develops psychic powers. He becomes a reclusive fortune teller and meets a mysterious old woman who promises to magically restore his looks if he agrees to become her lover. The woman is true to her word but Mitch soon falls in love with the younger and more beautiful Ellen and they run away together, Mitch using his powers to exorcise a ghost and track down a brutal serial killer.
