PLOT SUMMARY

A young time-traveller from another dimension, Sky, is thrown into our universe by a black hole. He's befriended by two young children but finds that his presence on Earth causes nature - personified by the mysterious Goodchild - to fight back, like anti-bodies battling a virus. Sky and the children must try to locate the Juganet, the gateway back to his own dimension, before nature destroys him.

CAPSULE REVIEW

Another cracking kids drama produced by HTV (others included Children of the Stones (1977) and the remarkable King of the Castle (1978)). Sky himself is a truly memorable creation, with his blond hair, completely blue eyes and otherworldly demeanor, and the scene where he's almost killed by leaves and roots was the cause of many a childhood nightmare. The product of an era when British television took children's television more seriously than it does now.
