Where do you begin? A work of comic genius that
many live action series can only aspire to emulating. Possessed of a
genuine wit, able to dispense the sharpest satire and not afraid to
indulge in some good old-fashioned knockabout, The Simpsons, even at
its worst, is the funniest thing ever to come out of US network television.
Though die-hard fans tend to bemoan an alleged decline in standards
in later seasons, it has remained consistently funny, clever and daring.
A television masterpiece.
