SUMMARY
American architect
Michael Smith arrives in London and business and is
haunted by visions of a young girl. Things get even
weirder when he accidentally kills an elderly woman,
Margaret Smith, in a traffic accident - Margaret returns
to him as a ghost and tells Michael that he has "the
sight", the ability to see restless spirits that
have yet to fully cross over. Michael must use his powers
to help the police catch a child murdering maniac who was
responsible for killing the young girl whose ghost he
keeps seeing.
CAPSULE REVIEW
Paul Anderson's
hit-and-miss career got a huge boost with this fabulous
ghost story. Anderson's script is witty and concise and
his direction is spot on, just the right blend of flashy
camera tricks and moody ambience. The great cast bring it
all to life perfectly and one can only hope that
commissioning broadcasters Sky Television do the right
thing and opt for a full series.
