SUMMARY

Shaun's having a rough day - he's trapped in a dead end job, his best friend and flatmate is a slob and his girlfriend's just dumped him. And then there are the zombies massing outside. As the apocalypse approaches, Shaun finds a new lease of life battling with the dead. He could be the only thing that stands between the zombies and his family and friends - if he can just get them to the pub...

CAPSULE REVIEW

Gory, clever and almost continuously laugh-out-loud funny, Shaun of the Dead is an excellent attempt to spoof the Romero zombie movies while playing out a fairly down to earth North London love story. It succeeds in magnificent style, with a witty script, great direction and a wonderful cast of British TV regulars. The end of the world has never been this much fun. (Full Review)
