PLOT SUMMARY

The small Irish village of Puckoon becomes embroiled in a dispute about where exactly the border between the north and the south should lie. As a compromise, a new border is drawn through the village, causing chaos for the inhabitants who find themselves needing passports for their dead relatives, smuggling weapons and crowding into the smallest corner of the local pub, which lies in the north where the beer is cheaper.
