SUMMARY

A scientist uses a laser beam to transmit matter from location to another. He decides to test it on himself but, inevitably, it all goes horribly wrong and one side of his body is horribly scarred and his touch becomes lethal.

CAPSULE REVIEW

Deeply dull and desperately underachieving old nonsense. None of makes much sense - why are Steiner's superiors so determined to sabotage a project that could make them a fortune? - and the characters are so boring it kills the movie stone dead. The only ray of hope in this sorry affair are the few embarrassed laughs you'll get from the title character's atrocious make up.
