PLOT SUMMARY

The near future: the daughter of a wealthy property developer wanders into a Bronx populated almost exclusively by vicious gangs. Tough cop Hammer is sent in to get her out and finds her being protected by ganglord Trash.

CAPSULE REVIEW

A thoroughly weird post-apocalyptic romp full of the most bizarrely dressed oddballs in cinema history. Some of the gangs seem a little less than terrifying (one lot consists exclusively of tap dancers!) but the inimitable George Eastman / Luigi Montefiore is on hand to scowl his way through the proceedings as Golem and, amazingly, everyone manages to keep a straight face. Completely daffy but strangely endearing.
