PLOT SUMMARY

A huge, thirteen part video documentary on the history of the horror movie, covering the genre from the silents to the 90's.

CAPSULE REVIEW

A lovingly compiled history of the genre that mostly uses trailers but which is pretty comprehensive (with a few notable exceptions - where are Psycho (1960) and Night of the Living Dead (1968)) that one can forgive this minor flaw (presumably the actual clips would have been too expensive). Christopher Lee is the perfect choice for narrator and his self deprecating comments about his own work are priceless.
