BIOGRAPHY

Aliza Gur was born in Israel, to parents who fled the murderous regime of Adolf Hitler during the war. Later, she would relocate to California, after winning the Miss Israel title in 1960 and coming in second in the same year's Miss Universe pageant. She soon embarked upon a short-lived film and TV career.

Gur has been married at least twice, once to Sy Shulman and later to Sheldon Shrager.
