PLOT SUMMARY
Lightning God Rayden leads a group of people,
including the warrior Liu Kang, police officer Sonja Blade, and martial
arts movie actor Johnny Cage to an island where a martial arts completion,
Mortal Kombat, is to take place. Rayden hopes that his team of fighters
will defeat the evil forces of the Outworld who, if they win, will
be able to take over the Earth.
