PLOT SUMMARY

A group of dim-witted aliens crash-land on Earth and immediately become media darlings. They're pursued by the military for knowledge they couldn't possibly have and by the media seeking unusual celebrities - and all the time, they have to somehoe keep everyone believing that they're actually a lot smarter than they really are...

CAPSULE REVIEW

What is it with Mel Smith, Griff Rhys Jones and the big screen? On TV, they were great - but as this disaster and the not-much-better Wilt (1989) showed they just couldn't get to grips with cinema. Terrible in almost every respect, there's absolutely nothing at all to commend this appalling old tat - one to avoid, especially if you have any respect for the otherwise rather wonderful Smith and Jones.
