SUMMARY
Model Maddie Hayes is duped by her investment adviser and ends up owning
a failing detective agency, City Angels. She renames it Blue Moon and
tries to make a success of it, struggling though a love-hate relationship
with her only detective, the cocky David Addison. As they investigate
seemingly routine cases, very strange things often happen to them when
they least expect it.
CAPSULE REVIEW
When it was good, Moonlighting was just about the best there was from
US TV of the period – witty, inventive, strange and always very
watchable. Even when it wasn't so good, it was fun. The two leads really
make the show, the chemistry between them keeping fans rushing back
for more despite the much publicised off-camera problems. A work of
genius.
