SUMMARY

The discovery of the mutilated body of a young woman in Marsh Island, Louisiana leads the locals to suspect that she was mauled to death by wild dogs. But as Sheriff Whitaker's investigation proceeds, it soon becomes clear that some of the townspeople have terrible secrets and there's a werewolf on the loose.
