PLOT SUMMARY

In the distant past, a village has been cursed. Every five years, the villagers must surrender nine children and young men to an army of horned soldiers who arrive to take them away to a remote island. where they are sacrificed to a flesh-eating deity, the Minotaur. Theo, the son of the village elder, has so far managed to escape this terrible fate but is overcome with guilt and disguises himself so that he will be chosen next time. He plans to kill the dreaded Minotaur and find out what happened to one of the previous sacrificial lambs, his childhood sweetheart.
