PLOT SUMMARY

A biography of the great Italian horror director Mario Bava.

CAPSULE REVIEW

An excellent, affectionate tribute to one of the greatest directors ever to grace the genre. A pleasingly diverse array of talent is interviewed, Bava's influence on modern horror cinema is finally given the thorough acknowledgment it deserves and the whole package is liberally sprinkled with rare photographs, interviews with Bava's family and clips from his films. A hugely impressive package that should be made required viewing for anyone with an interest in screen horror.
