PLOT SUMMARY

Vinny Durand is so obsessed with actress Jana Bates that he wants her to give him a part in her new film. He goes to the the Cannes Film Festival hoping to get close to her and offer his services. But Vinny is completely unhinged and soon people are starting to disappear from Jana's entourage...

CAPSULE REVIEW

A terrible film, made bearable only by Joe Spinell's slimy central performance. Re-teaming Spinell with Caroline Munro gives the impression that this was supposed to be a follow-up to Maniac (1980) which it most certainly isn't. One for Spinell or Munro completists only – the rest would be best advised to leave this dreadful, uninvolving and poorly made rubbish well alone.
