Death Benefit (1996) This 'based on a true story' TV movie has a more interesting premise
than usual - white trash Carrie Snodgress insures aquaintances for big
bucks and shoves them off cliffs. However, tediously, it spends less
time on its interesting villainess than on the fantasy figure of an
American lawyer (Peter Horton) who does months of work for no fees and
