SUMMARY

A remote island is overrun by tentacled monsters created when an experiment searching for a cure for cancer goes horribly wrong. The creatures liquefy and digest the bones from any creature they come across and a group of locals race against time to defeat them before they can reproduce out of control.

CAPSULE REVIEW

Thanks to Fisher's direction and a great cast, Island of Terror is an enjoyable - if rather far-fetched - romp. The rampaging cancer monsters are a great invention and work well enough for most audiences to suspend disbelief. No classic, but lots of fun.
