PLOT SUMMARY

The crew of the faster-than-light photon drive-equipped spaceship Altares, made up of two family units, leaves Space Station Delta on a mission to Alpha Centauri. After launching a series of navigational beacons, the crew decides to press on further into uncharted space, but are caught in the gravitational field of a black hole...
