PLOT SUMMARY
Claude Frollo, the Minister of Justice in Paris,
is forced by the Archdeacon of Notre Dame to raise the deformed Quasimodo
as his own child. Years later, the grown-up Quasimodo lives a solitary
live in the bell tower of the cathedral, emerging only to visit the
Festival of Fools. There, he falls in love with the gypsy girl Esmeralda
and helps her to protect the gypsies' home, the Court of Miracles,
from destruction.
