PLOT SUMMARY

Ian Richards wanders the backroads of the USA in search of H.B. Harker's "World of Wonder," a carnival with an infamous freak show. He catches up with it in a small farming community where he has been working to help reopen the local church. The arrival of the carnival reveals Richards' secret - he's a werewolf preparing for a showdown with the owner of the circus, the vampire Harker.

CAPSULE REVIEW

Who would have thought it – a late-in-the-day Howling sequel that's actually half-way decent. The dreadful title masks a genuinely well-written and directed effort that restores a little diginity to the franchise. Acting too is above average and the make up effects are much more convincing than in previous sequels. No masterpiece by any means, but certainly more than worth a look.
