SUMMARY
Scientists Sebastian Caine and Linda Foster
develop a serum which can render humans invisible. Caine tries out
the serum on himself and it seems to work – but there doesn't
appear to be a way to reverse the process which is driving Caine insane.
His colleagues have to find a way to both survive Caine's rampage
and also find a way to restore him to visibility.
CAPSULE REVIEW
Verhoeven's follow-up to Starship Troopers
proved to be a hugely disappointing invisible man variation that simply
recycles tired slasher movie clichés laced with state-of-the-art
special effects. Verhoeven does what he can but the script is unspeakably
bad, riddled with errors, logic gaps and plot holes and shot through
with some of the very worst dialogue ever written. Painfully bad and
one for committed Verhoeven fans only. And even they will feel short-changed...
