SUMMARY
After escaping from
captivity, serial killer Hannibal Lecter flees to
Florence, Italy where he becomes a curator at the Palazzo
Vecchio and, after a few years, seems to be cured of his
taste for human flesh. One of his victims, Mason Verger,
has survived the doctor's attentions but is disfigured,
on a life-support machine and looking for revenge. Only
Clarice Starling - who has fallen out of favour with her
FBI superiors and is being pilloried by the press - can
prevent Mason from carrying out his plan - but Mason is
using Starling as bait to draw Lector to him... [Full Synopsis]
