PLOT SUMMARY
As Halloween approaches
again, Jamie Lloyd has been confined to the Haddonfield's
Children's Hospital for a year after attacking her
step-mother and is under the care of Dr Sam Loomis.
Although mute since the events of the previous year,
Jamie has now developed a psychic link with her uncle,
Michael Myers who has woken from a year-long coma at the
bottom of a well and is trying to lure Jamie from the
safety of the hospital by stalking her friends and
relatives.
CAPSULE REVIEW
Talk about clutching at
straws... In a desperate attempt to keep the ailing
franchise afloat, the ridiculous psychic angle is dragged
in from nowhere and there's a clumsy attempt to
'humanise' Michael by having Loomis talk about the rage
that drives him and later having Michael remove his mask
to reveal a tear. Even the obligatory murder scenes are
badly staged and whatever value the series had left was
considerably compromised and cheapened.
