Billy and Kate are now living in New York, working
for media magnate Daniel Clamp. Meanwhile, Gizmo has been captured
by Clamp's genetics research division and imprisoned in the
very tower block that Billy works in. It isn't long before Gizmo
gets wet and a host of mischievous Gremlins are on the rampage, guided
by their intelligent leader, the Brain Gremlin. CAPSULE REVIEW
An excellent and often undervalued sequel to Dante's 1984 hit,
Gremlins 2 is a more expansive movie and trowels
on the gags and movie references in a relentless barrage. Not all
of it works, but the sheer volume of detail ensures that there's
always something to at least smile about. Not as dark and comically
subversive as the original, but still huge fun. AVAILABILITY
