Jessica Gordon grows up not realising that she is the daughter of
Satan himself. When she's abducted by the cult who have been watching
her for years, her boyfriend Andy recruits a pair of priests, Fathers
Kemschler and Wheatley, to help him find her and exorcise her of the
demons which have now possessed her. CAPSULE REVIEW
A dull, threadbare and sanitized take on The Exorcist
(1973) by way of To
the Devil… A Daughter (1976) which ultimately ends
up going nowhere. Performances are never any better than bland, Wendkos'
direction is merely serviceable and the script is more concerned with
romance than horror. A pointless pilot that failed to generate enough
interest to lead to a full series. AVAILABILITY
