A creature formed in a
black hole by rogue Godzilla cells, Space Dodzilla, heads
for Earth and abducts Little Godzilla from Birth Island.
Earth forces deploy their latest weapon, Mogera, but it
proves ineffectual against the invading monster. In a
three-way stand-off, Mogera joins forces with the
creature it was designed to destroy, Godzilla, a battle
to the death against Space Godzilla in Tokyo. CAPSULE REVIEW
A routine and
uninspiring addition to the heisei series of Godzilla
films. The crucial monster battle scenes are dull and
poorly staged and the plot meanders around trying to pad
out its running time with meaningless asides (the whole
yakuza sub-plot goes nowhere). And who on Earth thought
they could get away with the dreadful Little Godzilla? A
very disappointing 40th anniversary outing for Godzilla. AVAILABILITY
