PLOT SUMMARY

The underground kingdom of Seatopia despatches the giant insect-like creature Megalon and the buzzsaw wielding behemoth Gigan to attack the hated surface dwellers. They steal a human-sized automaton, Jet Jaguar, from a young inventor and reprogram it to attack Megalon to Tokyo, only to lose it again when the inventor restores control and sends Jet Jaguar to Monster Island in search of Godzilla. With Jet Jaguar now grown to monster size and and the space monster Gaigan joining in, the stage is set for another titanic struggle.

CAPSULE REVIEW

The very bottom of the the Godzilla barrel, this cheap, silly outing relegates Godzilla to the sidelines, cuts corners by reusing footage from previous films and the acting is the worst in any of the films. Jet Jaguar looks fantastic but is quite clearly just an Ultraman clone and Godzilla has never looked worse. And as for those clothes the actors are forced to wear... Unbelievably poor in almost every department.
