PLOT SUMMARY
Babysitter Amanda arrives at the home of a rather jumpy Mrs Lloyd and
settles down to look after her three-year-old son. But her young ward's
father has escaped from a nearby psychiatric hospital and is lurking
outside the house...
CAPSULE REVIEW
A surprisingly prescient film that anticipates the plot of John Carpenter's
Halloween
(1978) by some seven years, Fright is a well-cast,
tautly directed horror thriller that has sadly been rather overlooked
over the years and which certainly lives up to its title.
