PLOT SUMMARY
Five years after the
events of the first film, Camp Crystal Lake has been
opened as a camp counselor training centre. As the
teenage wannabe counselors gather for their training,
Jason Vorhees, the long-thought-dead son of Pamela
Vorhees, is lurking in the woods, armed with a small
arsenal of weapons and nursing a mighty grudge...
CAPSULE REVIEW
Another effective slasher, the last one of the series that one can
say that about. The plot twists will have you cringing in disbelief
but the brutality of the killings and the eerie backwoods setting give
the film the same unsophisticated energy and verve as the first film,
qualities that would be lost completely as the series progresses. Again,
this is no masterpiece, but it does what it sets out to do and does
it with ruthless efficiency. (Full
