SUMMARY

Police scientist Barry Allen is struck by lightning while doused in chemicals and this freak combination gives him the ability to run at incredible speed. When his police officer brother Jay is killed in the line of duty, Allen dons a special costume and becomes The Flash, a superhero dedicated to fighting crime.
