Shortly before her new husband takes up a position as a teacher at a boy's school, Peggy is attacked by a one-armed man. When she arrives at the virtually deserted school, she is horrified to find that the sinister headmaster has only one arm...

CAPSULE REVIEW

Another in the Hammer "psycho chiller" archetype though made long after the others (the script had been kicking around for ages). Once again its actually a direct steal from Les diaboliques (1955). A bit ho hum but the leads are excellent and the claustrophobic setting is handled well. Hardly original but simple and enjoyable. One good shock if you haven't seen too many photos from the movie.
