SUMMARY

Two men on opposite sides of the USA are murdered at the exact same time in the exact same way. Mulder and Scully investigate and discover that they both had identical eight-year-old daughters , the product of The Litchfield Experiment, a eugenics experiment which produced several sets of twins, boys named Adam and girls named Eve. All of the children possess phenomenal strength and acute intelligence, but are also emotionally dangerously unstable.
