PLOT SUMMARY
The Enterprise investigates a mysterious energy barrier
at the very edge of the galaxy. But the energy seems to affect First
Officer Mitchell and psychological observer Dr Dehner who have their
latent ESP abilities boosted and who start evolving into powerful super-beings.
