SUMMARY

Holly perfects his Holly Hop Drive, a revolutionary device that will return them to Earth in a split second. Of course it doesn't work and merely transports the Red Dwarf into a parallel universe where they meet their counterparts, two female survivors, a female computer and a dog. But a drunken night ends with Lister finally learning how he was going to have two children [see Future Echoes] and in this universe the roles are reversed in more ways than one - could Lister really be pregnant?

CAPSULE REVIEW

Season Two comes to a cracking end with this fantastic 'what if' story. Suzanne Bertish and Angela Bruce are excellent as the alternate Rimmer and Lister and the 'real' Lister's predicament neatly ties up a loose end from Season One. As if the clever writing and great performances weren't enough, it kicks off with the unforgettable Tongue Tied routine, one of Red Dwarf's finest moments.
