SUMMARY

The crew of Starbug encounter their future selves after discovering a revolutionary time drive. But they don't like what they've become - complacent, decadent and immoral time travelers. But the future crew want the present crew's time drive [theirs has malfunctioned] and are willing to do anything to get it. As the two Starbugs square off to each other, a shot is fired and the 'bug is destroyed... But which one?

CAPSULE REVIEW

A fantastic end to the season, even if most of the ideas [a revolutionary time travel device, derelict spaceships, the crew meeting doppelgangers of themselves] had already been done many times before. The future versions of the crew are wonderfully appalling and the climax - which cast serious doubt as to the future of the show - is one of the best.
