SUMMARY

As the Red Dwarf approaches light speed, the crew experience 'future echoes', glimpses of things to come. While Lister tries his best to cope with these strange phenomena, he also has to make an important decision about whether or not to return to stasis.

CAPSULE REVIEW

A fine indicator of the way that Red Dwarf would develop, using science fiction staples in a clever and amusing way. The show was shaping up nicely as not just a sitcom that happens to be set in space but as genuine science fiction with a sense of humour. The final revelations would come back to haunt Lister over the coming seasons.
