SUMMARY
The crew retrieve a
female officer from a crashed Jupiter Mining Corporation
vessel but she attacks Lister in his sleep and infects
him with the epideme virus, an experimental anti-smoking
cure that not only cures the craving for nicotine but
also the craving for blood and oxygen! As Lister's life
hangs in the balance, Kochanski resorts to some impromptu
surgery and hatches a wild plan to defeat the virus.
CAPSULE REVIEW
As the season draws to a
close, so the quality begins to pick up again. This first
installment of a two parter has some nice moments,
particularly from Craig Charles who gets the lion's share
of the action this time. It neatly sets up the season
finale and stands pretty well in its own right too.
