SUMMARY

On a derelict spaceship, the boys from the Dwarf discover a device that can alter a subject's genetic makeup. After Lister is temporarily turned into a chicken, Kryten becomes human and finds that it's not all he hoped it might be. But when they try to turn him back into a mechanoid, the crew succeed only in unleashing a genetically modified vindaloo beast and it's up to Lister - transformed into Man Plus - to save the day.

CAPSULE REVIEW

Thanks to a late change in the running order, Robert Llewellyn gets his second starring episode in a row and makes the most of it - his turn as the 'human' Kryten is spot on. The vindaloo beast is a classic of its type and Lister's way of defeating it is perfectly in character.
