PLOT SUMMARY
The Doctor and Rose travel to the planet New Earth in the year five
billion and 23 where Rose falls foul of a vengeful Lady Cassandra and
The Doctor uncovers a terrible conspiracy in a hospital run by the feline
Sisters of Plenitude.
CAPSULE REVIEW
A hit and miss start to the new series with some irritations - the
unsatisfactory ending being chief among them - but plenty to enjoy in
Tennant's new Doctor, Piper's outstanding performance and some truly
wonderful effects. It's lightweight stuff but with hidden depths if
you want to look for them and the good points just about outweighing
