CAPSULE REVIEW

A hit and miss start to the new series with some irritations - the unsatisfactory ending being chief among them - but plenty to enjoy in Tennant's new Doctor, Piper's outstanding performance and some truly wonderful effects. It's lightweight stuff but with hidden depths if you want to look for them and the good points just about outweighing the bad. (Full Review)
