SUMMARY

In a bunker deep beneath Utah, in the year 2012, The Doctor finds to his horror that a single Dalek has survived the Time War and is being held by billionaire collector Henry Van Statten. When the Dalek gets loose, The Doctor has to face his greatest fears and his guilt over his actions that brought the Time War to an end.

CAPSULE REVIEW

Brilliant. No Davros, no Ogrons, no schoolgirls acting as living battle computers, just a single Dalek doing what it does best. The confrontations between an enraged and terrified Doctor and the gloating Dalek are a series highlight and at the end it achieves the unthinkable - it makes you actually feel for a Dalek. A story that reveals new pleasures on every repeated viewing.
