CAPSULE REVIEW
Och aye the noo. For those who want to understand
how slim the difference is between ordinary Doctor Who
and great Doctor Who, watch this serial. The story
could easily be just another adventure, but instead it's a simple
story with good characters, taut direction, excellent production design
and lighting, fantastic monsters (even more so for not being dragged
back again) and a great Doctor and companion. Shot to be the end of
the previous season it was held back to open the new season, hence
the departure of Harry Sullivan, now unnecessary. Also the final regular
appearance of The Brigadier with UNIT.
